About Night Before Flight
Night Before Flight is an independent comparison site for one specific travel problem: an early flight, a car, and the question of where to sleep the night before. We list hotels near US airports that let you park for the length of your trip and ride a shuttle to the terminal, and we compare that against what the airport's own lots charge.
Who runs it
Night Before Flight is built and maintained by Emilien, an independent developer based in France, who writes the routing code, reads the airports' rate cards and answers the contact page. There is no editorial team and no paid placement.
We also choose what we ask search engines to index. Each hotel has its own page, reachable from its airport, but we submit only the airport pages, the parking cost comparisons and the guides: the pages that compare, not the ones that repeat a listing. A site that wants to be found for every hotel near every airport is a directory; this one is a comparison.
Where the numbers come from
- Distances and travel times are computed from each property's own coordinates against the airport, over the real road network for driving and walking. When a routed figure looks unreliable, we hide it rather than publish it.
- Official lot rates are read from each airport authority's published rate card, entered exactly as published, with the date we read them. Airports that don't publish a static rate card (some price dynamically) simply show no rates table until we hold one.
- Guest scores and review counts are shown exactly as collected from major booking platforms, never edited, never our own.
- Shuttle and package terms appear only when confirmed. If a detail is missing on a page, it means we don't hold it, not that it doesn't exist. We never guess operational details: an invented shuttle hour can cost you a flight.
How this site makes money
When you book through links on this site, we may earn a commission from our booking partners, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never affect which hotels we list, how they rank, or the figures we report. Ranking is deterministic: confirmed free shuttle first, then distance to the terminal, then guest score.
